A Lovely Poem About My Upcoming Surgery

I want a slice of pizza.

Wait!  I'd rather have some pie.

If I don't get the foods I want,

I think I might just die!

 

I have a big, round belly.

It jiggles when I walk.

So I must measure out my food

To stop the Santa talk.

 

I'm going to the doctor

For the best tool in the land.

I'm ready to evict this fat!

My tool, a helping hand.

 

I hate to wax poetic.

I hope that you don't mind.

This poem just burst out from my head--

Okay so this is too adorable! I love it!

Oh btw the last time I had pizza I scarfed down an entire large pie in under an hour...and was hungry about two hours later!
