Topic: RE: Clothing exchange if you are sick!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to have to ask. If you are sick with the flu to please do consider others when deciding to come. Maybe I am sounding a little selfish. but I am trying to do everything I can to not catch this bug.  There are also others who do not want it either.

Please don't take this the wrong way. I still have love  for all of you sick people just want to love from afar :)

I will have sanatizer on hand for everyone to use!!!!!

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!!!!!

Hugs

Clothing exchange and pitch in

October 24,2009

11:00am - 3:00pm

Calvary Chapel on the Horizon.

1117 south brideport road

Indianapolis, Indiana 46213

Please bring gently used clothing and a bariatric friendly dish.

Clothes need to be prewashed with no stains or holes.

Food needs to be bariatric friendly meaning no doughnuts or things we are not allowed to have. If you would like to bring water or paper plates and such let me know these are stables that need to be there. Sometimes we don't have any and I want to make sure this time those items are at least covered.

Its a time to come together and have fun. All are welcome you need not to have had the surgery. For those that are pre op this is a time you can meet some of us who have had the surgery and ask your questions. For those of us who have had surgery its a time to come together and get some new clothes and have fun watching each other shrink.

We do have a 15 minute rule. Since this is geared toward people who have had surgery we allow those people to go in first and shop for clothes then all others can follow after 15 minutes.

Our church lets us hold this free of charge. We do ask that you bring non perishable food items to give to our food pantry.  I think its a the least we can do for what the church has done for us for now over a year!

If you have any questions ask away. there are plenty of people here who have been to alot of exchanges and can help with any questions.

Our biggest exchange since I have hosted it was like 70 people. I want to try to break this record. So start planning!

Melissa,

Funny you say that. I was cold all the time. But now that I have my own little furnace I keep pretty comfortable. Not cold but not hot either. SO ladies if you want some warmth you can make your own little furnace like melissa and I did :)

Topic: RE: Its a Girl!

I actually only waited a year before I was pregnant. I didn't want to wait the two years they suggest because I would be out of the honeymoon stage and I didn't want to go through gaining a bunch of baby weight. I am currently 20 weeks along and have only gained 3 pounds. I feel like this is my healthiest pregnancy. The baby is right on target as far as size. I am feeling pretty good, but I don't have alot of energy but I have heard its that way when you are older and pregnant. I am currently 33 so this pregnancy is a little more energy zapping.

Oh boy another girl!!! I still can't believe its going to be a girl I was really hoping for a boy as some of you know. I guess I can still hold out on the fact she could be wrong. I am still very thankful she is healthy and look on the brighter side, I can start keeping things from Reagan to hand off to her....

Melissa,

I have not decided what to bring yet. I am throwing around ideas but just can't make up my mind. I may just bring some tuna sandwiches.

Big hugs to you Linda.

I have been thinking of you this week as mothers day drew closer. I know tomorrow is going to be hard for you. When I found you had made plans I was so happy because the worst thing you could do is stay home. Getting out tomorrow is the best thing for you right now.

Topic: RE: Okay ladies tired of dealing with this..........

When you guys get up does it go black then slowly the world comes back.

I have been dealing with this since surgery. Is it a Vitamin that needs uping. I have an appointment with Dr Inman in June but would like to start fixing it now. It is really bothersome today. The blackness isn't going away quickly enough for me. So have any of you experienced it and what are you doing to get rid of it.

 Thanks

Also bring your favorite bariatric friendly dish.

Our church lets us hold this function free of charge for us. As a thankyou we ask that you bring a bag of non perishable food item to help us stock the food pantry.  Our pantry is very low so this would be a huge blessing.

Thanks
