Hey guys!
I know I havent been on in a long while. Had some time to check in this evening.
I am having a problem though and I am wondering if it is a Vit. B1 deficiency.
I am playing softball and I did not do anything to pull a muscle or anything. All of a sudden both of my thigh muscles cramped up and I could barely walk.  This was on Sunday. They are still hurting not as bad but it is there. I cant hardly like pull my leg behind me and stretch my thighs that way, that is when it hurts the worse.  Has anyone had this?  I do have to admit I havent taken B1 in quite a while and thought this was a possibility.  I go for my 1 1/2 yr. appt. Monday so I do plan on asking and I have started back on my B1.  If anyone has experienced this, how long did it last? What did you have to do to get back to normal, etc.?
So how has everyone been doing?

Good morning everyone!
I am working EMS today so I thought I would hop on here and see what was going on.  After I get off here tonight at 7pm, I will do my weekly trip to Walmart to grocery shop.  Then Sunday my plans are to be a couch potato and get caught up on some much needed rest.
Suppose to be a crappy weekend here and possibility of snow flurries tomorrow....what is up with that?
I am ready for some heat to warm my bones up...lol.

Good morning everyone!
I hope everyone is doing well.  I am still here, just dont get to get on here very often anymore. I am kind of at a stand still on my weight (I think) I am down to about 118 now. Makes my total weight loss 152 #. Way more then I wanted to lose, but maybe if I have the rebound weight gain that they talk about, I will get back to where I want to be.  I put a new picture of my family this past Christmas on my profile.
I am working EMS today until 2, then probably going to the grocery and relaxing.  Hopefully, I get warm today. I am so tired of being cold. Winter can go away and stay away. You guys warned me that I would not be liking the winter and snow and I have to say you are right.
I am playing on a softball league this spring and I cannot wait.  We had practice last Sun. and it was great to be able to get out there like I used to when I was a kid.  I felt like a kid again.  I told my daughter, I wished I would have done this surgery a long time ago.  I am loving life now, its just awesome!
So, anyone out there contemplating it.......well it is very much well worth it.

Sherry, what is up with this pill you are talking about? Is this something you got from Mayo's?

I miss all of you guys and wish I could chat with you more. Maybe one of these days I will get a computer at home and then I can.

I hope everyone else is doing well.  Hope you got out after the big snow.  They say we are suppose to be getting another snow storm first of next week.
I got stuck in my road for about 2 hours at least I was right in front of my house. So I just shut the car off and went in the house....lol!  Then we got the tractor out and got it out and got our drive way plowed out.  I wasnt able to make it to work Wed. night.

I am still doing ok.  I havent been real good on my fluid intake. I am drinking way too much coffee which I am trying to cut back down.
I go to the doc in May for my 1 1/2 yrs. I cant believe it has been long already.  Time flies!

Well I will try and touch base at least once a week. I probably dont know the half of what has been going on in all your lives. 

Good luck to all those getting ready for surgery and approvals and get well to all those that just had surgery.  Prayers going out to everyone.

Hopefully, they will get you all fixed up and 2009 you only have to undergo this 1 surgery and that will be all. 
I saw on another post where Peter passed away as well.  I sent Hope a message.  I cannot imagine what she is going through.

I know we have never met, but I wanted to let you know you are in my prayers.
I dont get on the board as much as I used to since I started a new job, so I dont find these things out right away.

Good morning everyone!
I havent been on here in forever. I had to be at EMS this morning, so I thought I would get on here and start the thread for today.
Everything is going good with me.  Got thru the holidays. I am just glad they are over.  It is just to hectic anymore.
I am down 145 lbs (15 lbs under my goal) 
One day I had a little too much sugar I guess and was in the bathroom. I never threw up, but my stomach was cramping something terrible and had diahrea (sp?) really bad.  It was enough to make me watch that sugar.
So how has everyone been.  Anything new and exciting in anyone's lives?
I hope everyone is doing well.
I wanted to also say thank you to Janene & Sherry for the Christmas cards. I just didnt get any out this year.

Good Saturday Morning All,
Wished I was sleeping in, but no chance of that since I had to be at EMS at 7am. 
EMS decided they were going to pay me to do accounts payable and billing. So when I work I am getting paid.  So now I have a 2nd job.  Which helps since I took a pay cut when I left here FT.  So with my 2 incomes combined I will be making what I was making when I was here FT. That is not even counting my commission that I will be getting in a couple months at my new job.  So I am excited!
I hope everyone has fun at the ornament exchange.  You all try to stay warm out there today. It is freezing!

I am at my mom & dad's. I made a SF pumpkin pie last night, deviled eggs and bought rolls.
I miss being on here everyday. I feel like I have deserted you all.  I am loving my new job.  It has been 3 wks today.  It is so nice not to have to work for once on a holiday.  I would usually work every holiday. 
It is looking like I am not going to make the ornament exchange. I am going to have to work that day.  I will just have to catch up with you all later.
