After having lost 21 to be accepted for surgery my journey is just starting - See the Nutritionist May 9th and the psychologist May 6

Awesome! May I ask what your BMI is? I heard the will accept up to 50 and as of yesterday I'm down to 52 with 14 lbs until I get to 50. I'm both happy and excited for you

I talked to Andrea last week; I was so excited because my BMI is 49 and I have been on the waiting list since Mar 2010.  I told her I heard that it was moved to 50 and she said no.  I am also 56 was 54 when I applied, she told me that once they open up the criteria it would be to 65 years old and they will also be doing surgery on men, but the BMI is still 47.  No move on that that she knows of.

Congrats! is that threw St B? how did you go about losing the weight? i need all the tips/ideas that I can get.
