Ok this may be TMI but since coming home from surgery I am a burping machine! Today I had a
burping attack that lasted at least half a hour. Is this normal? I know that they pump you full of gas during surgery but I thought it would gone by now.
How much burping is normal?

I was like that for quite a while after the surgery. And now if I eat to fast I burp alot.

My body makes the weirdest sounds now. I sound like a horse when I've had too much -sort of like a burp stopped and sounding whiny ... when I first start to eat something like soup my stomach starts gurgling like water going down a drain. I burp like crazy sometimes and again sometimes doesn't sound human. I'm a freak

I too get the little heaving kind of burps when I eat too fast or a bite or two too much. Since we're sharing I can't believe how much noise my body makes in the mornings when it prepares for a bm. It is like a boiler system chugging and clanking and gurgling and ridiculously loud.

i didnt have any burping issues but i do make some weird noises if i eat too fast or too much...haha

Referall sent out June 2011, Group Meeting Dec 2,2011, Dr Andrew Jan 25,2012, Psych Evaluation March 1st,2012, Dietician April 12,2012. Surgery June 26,2012!! Nutritionist Goal reached 6 months post op!! SW 247
