Six Star whey protein on sale at Walmart this week
Hey folks
In case you haven't looked at a Walmart flyer, they are having an anniversary sale this week. Six Star Whey Protein powder is on sale for $18.99 (885 g / 2 lb container). The flavours I found were Cookies & Cream, Strawberry, Vanilla and Chocolate. They have 26 g of protein, 9 g of carbs and 160 calories per scoop. I like all the flavours except vanilla (although I'm really not keen on protein shakes at all since my surgery in February). The protein is a mix of whey protein concentrate and whey protein isolate.
As I mentioned in a "coffee" post, I mixed half a scoop into lukewarm coffee with a spoon and it mixed well without clumping except for the last spoonful.
