Medical Loans

Has any one taken out a medical loan and can anyone suggest a company?

When I was having a tummy tuck 6 years ago I did alot of research. One of the things that was a major red flag for me was that you could not pay it off early without still having to pay the interest they banked on making over the duration of the loan. You couldnt. even make an extra payment against the principal. Things may have changed since then but I haven't looked so make sure you read all the fine print. I found that even though I had saved up most of the money, a low interest credit card was a much more cost effective answer to the extra I needed. Even if you had the finance the whole amount, its still a better option if the limitations are still the same.  You can make extra payments any time you are able to..and there are alot of cards out there with no frills that have a decent interest rate.
