Pain reliever

Hi there,

Before surgery, I would use IB profen when exercising or golfing and just wondering if we are allowed to use after RNY or what can we use?  My knees are killing me when walking

I was told only Tylenol. But best to call the clinic to ask

I know I read that RNY patients aren't supposed to take NSAIDs, it was one of the reason's I went with VSG.  I know both ibuprofen (Advil) and naproxen (Aleve) are both NSAIDs, so I think you are regulated to Tylenol.  Don't quote me, I could be wrong, It's been a long time since I played a Dr. on TV....... lol
