MEDICAID AND MEDICARE SURGEONS LIST!

Hi Dotti, Do you know if you go to Dr. Onopenchenko with Medicare will there be a Co-Pay Involved to pay for the surgery?  My friend has Medicare, and was told that Medicare would not pay for the whole thing, so she was unable to get the surgery.  Any Info would be greatly appreciated.

Medicare will charge 20% of covered expenses to the patient. Dr's office estimated it at about $700. The hospital charged the Medicare deductible of almost $1100. This has to be paid yearly for hospital stays. The rest of the bills so far have not added up to $30. If your friend cannot afford the deductible, is it possible she may qualify for Medicaid? If not the hospital has charity care for the deductible but you must meet income and savings criteria. If you need any more info PM me. Hope this helps... Dotti

HI DANIELLE, I ALSO HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A SURGEON WHO ACCEPTS MEDICAID. I JUST  TALKED TO  DR. WASSER'S OFFICE. HE DOES TAKE MEDICAID. GOOD LUCK

 Also a tip for FYI .... his brother in law is a plastic surgeon so they refer to each other often.

THey do not accept medicaid :( I had called them earlier this week and they told me they didnt... :(
