Because of flooding and FEMA taking over the Vestal Library the September and October Meetings in Vestal were cancelled. For November and December I have been able to arrange meeting space at the George F. Johnson Library at 1001 Park Street in Endicott. But instead of the second Wednesday of the month the meetings will be on the second Thursday. So the meeting for November will be November 10th. Meet and greet and mingle will take place from 5:30 to 6 in the meeting room in the basement (there is an elevator for those who cannot do the stairs). And at 6 p.m. our long awaited guest speaker, Dr. Julie Dostal will talk about Choices and Challenges for the upcoming Holiday Season. There will also be a representative from Bariatric Advantage with some sample products as well as our regular OH magazines, handouts and other goodies. I am so appreciative of Dr. Dostal (our very own Julie) for being able to reschedule to offer this valuable talk to our members.
Decembers meeting will be on December 15th at the same time and place.
