Newbie from gta

Hello All

I am new to this site. My name is Tanisha and i am 22 I had rny may 3, 2011.
I'm looking for support from people in the gta area. possible support group and or friends.

wow so your almost one year. I am 5 months and so far been good. Each day is a challenge with food choices, that is a strugle now but i've lost 70lbs and working out every week.
does it get easier or harder the further you are in this journey

from my experience so far... it gets easier... lots of reading labels and making sure to drink water throughout the day... that was the hardest part for me and have to admit on weekends i sometimes forget (oops)....  this is a great place to find answers to your questions - I still ask

Welcome! - this board is very helpful and supportive.

Where did you have your suregery?  THW has a group for it's patients.  You can start at your hospital and see if they are aware of other groups in the area.

Welcome to the forum Tanisha!  We have a support coffee group in Mississauga that you are very welcome to attend.  I always post the date/time/etc. here on the board.  Our next get together will be mid-November.
