It appears I might have to learn how to really SWIM. Before I would float no matter what. No effort to treading water at all. I went back to the pool tonight after having not having been there in months.

I sank. I mean I just sank like a rock!!  I guess its true about fat being buoyant!!

I guess I lost my 80 lb floatation device!

SO true, you have to actually put an effort into it now.
good workout though.

I guess if we fell off a boat, we really would need a lifejacket now. I'll have to remember that when i go on my cruise this winter.

I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to that side effect or not.  Right now, I can go in the middle of a pool and just "stand" there - absolutely no effort required.  Boy will it be a change for me!!!
However, I have sometimes worried that if someone was drowning on the bottom a pool, I'd never be able to get there and save them!    I just CAN'T sink at this point!
