Hi
I am having what I believe to be heartburn issues/ pouch pain  (3 months post op).  Wondering what I can take that is over the counter.
I phoned my center and have an appt June 1st, but I would love to find something to help me until then.  Is anyone taking any OTC medications?

Thanks
Tina

I just posted on another thread-Zantac (ranitidine) can be purchased over the counter.  Its on sale this week at costco.  You can take 1 tab twice a day-or 1 tab once a day-or 2 tabs at bedtime.

It would depend on when you symptoms are most active.  You can purchase the generic brand its often cheaper.

It is an acid reducer and will help with reflux.

If you are having issues I would not wait till june 1 its much easier to prevent than to treat an issue.
