Well that's all the German I know. 
Hello, I am Allister. 

I've been on the Ontario Bariatric registry for almost a year now and my surgery is scheduled for this Wednesday, June 13. I am sure all of you must be pretty impressed that I have, after only a few short months and months and months, and with but a few dozen people pointing at it, have manage to discover your super secret base. 

I've still got a long way to go with my weight loss journey. It's off to a good start though and I am confident that with this surgery, I will have enough time and motivation to change my lifestyle around to a much healthier and active one. 

I want to return to downhill skiing which I have done when I was younger. Much has changed since I last was on skis so there is a learning curve there which makes it interesting mentally too. Plus all the shopping for new gear is something I quite enjoy.

For the summer I would like to ride a bike. There are many great places to ride a bike here in Toronto, though so many people feel that riding on a terribly decrepit street where there is no room for bikes and cars, sucking exhaust is the way to go. Not for me, I will take the miles and miles of ravine and parks as my course. 

I play music and for the second half of my life, will do that professionally.

 I am glad that I have found this place with so many people on various way points along their own journey that coincide with my own. With your mentoring and inspiration I will work hard to join your ranks and be among you.
