TWH - Orientation tomorrow - anyone else?

I am so excited to be starting the process, tomorrow is my Orientation session at Toronto Western. Just thought I would check in to see if anyone else here is going? If so, perhaps we can touch base. Unfortunately my support person had to back out so I will be by myself...but will imagine all of you with me!

If you're at TWH, make sure you call them frequently and ask for cancellations. There are quite a few of us who had appointments moved up that way. Good luck!

Hi Deborah:
My first appointments are not until May 6th. It seems long but in actual fact it works for me, as my husband and I are moving to Ancaster end of March or beginning of April...I really want to get settled in our new home before embarking on this. I am also thinking about having my file transfered to Hamilton seeing as I will be living fairly close and it will make life easier for follow up appointments etc... The NP who did the orientation today indicated that transfering the file would be easy and I wouldn't have to do the orientation again....lots to think about.
I can see why there would be cancelations, at the break tonight, at least three people left and didn't come back...I guess they decided it wasn't something they were willing to commit to, so when the appointments were passed out, the were not there.

Wow, 3 people just didn't come back? That didn't happen at my orientation. I guess it's better they bow out now than later on in the process!

It went well, nothing I didn't already know, but it was interesting... Funny though, tonight I am feeling really emotional...feel like I could break down and cry and I am not exactly sure why....jeeze, if I am feeling like this now!! I know I felt a bit let down going in...my support person backed out and I was sad about that...Guess it is time to get the old journal out and start writing...try to get a handle on what this mood is all about!?!
