I brought and used....

Jammies... I brought jammie pants and a loose fitting tshirt.... it felt soooo great to be in my own jammies.

chapstick.... keeps your lips from drying out.

My own Pillow....in a bright coloured pillow case so it didn't get confused with the hospitals pillows.

ipod...for when I was alone.

Cell phone and charger.

Thats it...I even went home in my jammies.... :)

Good luck promise it will all be ok!

One of my incisions leaked after surgery so I stayed in their gowns. I did have a housecoat and slippers for walking the halls. I had a shower before i left the hospital and wished I had brought my own towel.

As previously mentioned chapstick is a must. The hospital is very dry. I also brought a book for when alone but only read a little.

Good luck

Looks like you've got everything listed you need... if you meet the wonderful nurses Jennifer,  Gylanne and Derrick  at HRRH you will be in good hands.

Positive vibes your way for surgery day!

I took all of the above also but stayed in the hospital gown. I also brought a Vicks vapor rub for just inside my nostrils as it was so dry in there it helped me breathe at night. Good luck!!
