Thinking of Mytimetofly.
Mytmetofly was supposed to get her surgery today and had it cancelled at the last minute...she was literally gowned up.... So here is my wishing her the best as the mess gets sorted out and hoping she gets her surgery rebooked asap. Please send her your well wishes ...I am sure she could use our support.

I've had that happen. It is so frustrating and quite honestly I cried. They needed my surgeon for an emergency but I'd worked myself up into a state of readiness and was so prepared.
I was very fortunate that the next week there was a cancellation and they did my surgery then. It is so disappointing.
I hope the staff were kind, because I'm sure she is very upset. It's a set back, but it's not over, just try to keep hanging on.
Oh, that's terrible - how disappointing! I hope she gets a new date soon (and doesn't have to do TOO much Opti the next time around)!

I know exactly how she is feeling because I got cancelled too. I was minutes before going in after waiting almost the whole day. It was frustrating because mentally I was ready. However, I didn't let myself get too upset because I figured it wasn't meant to be and I wanted a fresh surgeon and staff working on me.
It got rebooked within 10 days as the first surgery of the day and everything went well.
Just make sure she asks for a first appointment for next time. Considering she was cancelled they should be able to accommodate her.
