Ottawa wait between consent and getting THE CALL

Hi everyone,

Just curious, I met Dr. Mamazza Sept 16th and got my consent "blessing" and my opti.....does anyone know how long one typically waits for that infamous call on average?

I got called 2 weeks later!

Unless rules have changed, the surgeons meet the first week of the month (i.e. first week of October) and schedule the next month's surgeries (i.e. November).  Depending on where you are on the list, you may get your call according to that.  I would guess you'll get called in October, but don't take my word for it.

I met the surgeon on August 13 and got my call on August 22. Since your are planning to go away - give Lana a call and see if she knows yet where things are at, as far as dates go etc.

I got my call three weeks after, and then my appointment was a month later. I needed a specific week and a Friday as I have my kids one week on and off and starts on Friday. They are very accomadating
