I'm 12 days out and for a change decided to put one of my Premier protein shakes in the freezer. Yuck...really yuck. But if that is my biggest complaint, I'm doing alright :-]

I went for my first follow up appointment at St. Joe's. Everything looks good and I'm down 15 lbs since surgery. I go back in a month.

15lbs is a really good start and you seem to be doing well..my trick was always to use a cup/mug that had a lid, the taste was fine with my protein but the smell was disgusting and even at 5 years post-op when I have the occasional shake I still put a lid on it.

as far as freezing it....I guess you could have put it in a blender and made a smoothie??

prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.

life is AMAZING when you continue on the right path~!.  Use your surgeons gift to the fullest~!
