wait times for surgery

I am meeting with Dr. Aarts on Friday at TWH. Can anyone tell me how long after meeting with the surgeon their surgery date was. 

Im very excited and very nervous at the same time about this so I am just wondering how far apart the two were. 

Also what happens after you meet with the surgeon?

I had Mary Ann arts as my surgeon as well but met with another surgeon at my surgeons appointment...originally after seeing the surgeon I was sappose to wait about 3 months for my surgery date but then I asked the surgeons office receptionist to put me on their cancellation list and they called me about 2 weeks later with an earlier surgery date so instead of a 3 month wait I only waited 1...so if u want ur surgery sooner u can ask to go on the cancellation list hope this helps...if I waited for my original surgery date it would have been in this month and I am currently over 2 months post op...good luck...
