Pregnancy after WLS do's and don'ts??!!

Just curious if anyone has any thoughts on pregnancy after WLS!!?? Any big differences between being pregnant before and after WLS?? I know they suggest at least 3 years after surgery, but anything else??!! Are there any good sites or books on this topic?? This is something I am just thinking about and it's definitely not something that is happening tomorrow, but I would like to know what my options are!!

There are women that have gotten pregnant soon after WLS. They suggest to wait so your body has time to adjust and heal. I have a few friends that have recently had a baby or getting ready to have a baby very soon... They are at least 4-5yrs out from their RNY.

Check with your centre, but most are saying 18 months now.
