Cough Medicine

Ive had a cough for 3 days and its freaking getting on my nerves.  Thank god it doesnt hut to cough (3 weeks out).  Can we take cough medicine, Buckleys perferably.

I think you have RNY? Yes, by all means take any cough medicine that doesn't contain NSAIDS. Watch the sugar content - you don't want to feel any worse than you already do!

Thank god! Yes RNY.  I hadnt read I couldnt in any of the materials given by the hospital.   Ill look at the bottle to ensure low sugar and non of the other.  I guess that means cough candies should be ok too then?

Get sugarless if you can, avoid all if possible.

Buckleys should be fine. That's what my Mom takes and she's a diabetic.
