Today marks 1 week since my surgery.

I went in to surgery with the expectation that I would be having the RNY procedure.  Once the surgeon got in there, he discovered that my lap-band had started to erode my stomach (terrific), and that the only way to continue with the RNY would be to leave the pouch too big.  They made the decision to give me the sleeve, and for that I am truly blessed.

So far, I am on the mend and my sleeve and I are getting along just fine.

I'm happy to be a Sleeve Diva and can't wait to continue on with my journey to a new and healthy me!

Thanks again for all of the continued support, it means a lot!!

Glad you're past the surgery and on the mend. I guess we all go into the surgery knowing that things may not go as planned. I'm sure the surgeon did what was best and you now have the tool you want to help you. Hope the recovery continue to go well!
