Hi Barb, You seem to have a lot of turkey. I am having company for lunch so off to cook shortly. I am not sure what I will have for dinner but I have put in chili. This may change. I have also put in a cup of chicken pie but usually can't eat all of it. This pie has no crust just a sweet potatoe biscuit topping. I am making pies so o course I will have to try some to make sure it turns out. That's my excuse anyway.

b 1 egg, 2 strips bacon

l chicken pot pie, kale salad,  blueberry pie

d chili

s glass of wine, laughing cow, breton crackers

so far cal 1227, prot 60, carb 63

Can't find edit. I realised the pie I picked from my fitness pal did not have any carbs in it. My pie sure will so my numbers are of. I will have to change this later

Cooked a 20 lb turkey for US thanksgiving - should run out of leftovers by dinner tonight.

Hope your lunch went smoothly - how was the house cleaning?  Did your sil show up with the white gloves?

It actually went pretty well. Except for forgetting to put out the nice towels in the washroom. Unfortunately I did not feel well on Saturday and left far too much cooking until Sunday.

Hi Pumpkin

6 days post op - the most important thing is fluids.  Protein shakes are great as they count as both.  Don't worry too much the first few weeks.  Just do your best and work at getting fluids and then protein in.
