Home from the Hospital - Surgery went well!
Hi Everyone,
Thanks to all who have sent me private messages. My surgery was on Tuesday morning. The night was pretty rough without anything to drink (mouth felt like chalk) and I was counting the minutes to 4am when I could have a sip of water...heaven! The next day went really well and got up and walked as much as I could. I thought I would be coming home yesterday but my hemoglobin levels were low so I had to stay until today. Feeling a bit nauseated and very tired, but other than that ok.
The whole surgery experience is kind of surreal and I can't believe it has already happened. Surprisingly I do feel lighter. It's a long road ahead but one I am excited about and willing to take - to recover, to be strong, to be healthy, and to be slim. Yah!!!
