new food finds for me

Cooked chicken from the deli is my go to meal.  I also but meat from Grocery Outlet and pop a steak on my George Foreman and in 4 minutes dinner.

I love quick and easy meals.  I just cook for myself so the easier the better.  If I do get in a cooking mode I take advantage of it and make a lot of extra portions to vacuum wrap and freeze for later.

I just bought a cheap pack of chicken hindquarters, baked them up, sealed them individually and popped them in the freezer and I have lunch and dinner for weeks.

Similar to your frozen shrimp, I get a bag of precooked snow crab clusters from SAMs club. 2 pounds per bag will last for three meals.   I just thaw in mw oven. About $15 for the bag so less than I used to spend for a lunch out at fast food!

Thanks everyone for their suggestions. The keeping hard boiled eggs around is a good one to remember.

For the last couple of days I've been sick so I've been eating greek yogurt and drinking water.

Thanks again..Deb T.
