Is Mexico safe? For Vertical Gastric Sleeve?

Let's hope it's safe in Mexico, I am in Cancun relaxing for a couple of days before my sleeve with Dr. Verboonen on Friday. I have heard nothing but great things about him and his facilitator Sheri has been awesome to work with. Her assistant Eric picked my husband and I up from the airport and delivered us to our hotel. I will let you know later exactly how the surgery part went but so far so good.

Good luck with your decision and there is no shortage of people who have gone all over Mexico to have surgery and it seems as though most have had great results! 

Dr Aceves did my sleeve. Mexicali felt very safe to me.

I went to Mexicali and it was absolutely fine. It's all city specific. Tijuana and Juarez are the worst cities for danger.

Hopefully the Mexican gov't will do the same to him as the Canadian gov't.
