bay area work outs
i've noticed there are several people from the bay area! where do you guys work out when you're not at the gym?
i did the stanford "dish" yesterday (right on the corner of page mill and foothill expwy?) HOLY COW..i can't believe i was able to do 3.5 miles of steep hills in about an hour!
there are a lot of great hiking places around..do you guys have any recommendations?

I belong to a gym but also go rollerblading at random parks and dancing when ever I can and where ever I can.

One of my favorite outdoor walking areas is Crystal Springs in San Mateo - just off 280. It's a paved & marked path with gorgeous scenery. Early is best as parking can be rough. The path is marked in 1/2 mile increments so you can go as far as you want then turn around and head back and the terrain changes, flat, up hill, down hill, etc.
I like Rancho San Antonio. They have a small farm in the middle so you can watch the baby animals in the spring.
