lol, dont laugh because most of you probably already had this, but I bought a blender today. On sale for $12! lol...so, I felt like I made a teeny bit of progress and am one step closer to my VSG...

I bought one pre-op too, but then it was too big a hassle so after reading lots of posts here about stick blenders I got one of those.  Use it all the time.  Still have a protein shake a couple times a week.  It's especially convenient if I'm running late and need to take breakfast along.

Good luck on your journey.  It's a great one!

An immersion blender.  It has a handle with a rod/pole which has a blade with cover on the end which you just push down into a glass or cup and mix away.  So so so nice.  And cheap!  Got mine at Target for like $21-22.  Quick clean up.

I'm 5' 8.5" & lost about 4 lbs. pre-op which is included in the bar above.

I have an immersion blender but find I haven't used it since surgery. I prefer the regular blender... I can use it for shakes as well as soups and spreads that are a little chunkier to begin with. Also, my immersion blender doesn't chop ice!

Congrats on taking one more step closer!
