Post op pain

I have had the worst pain in my top left side lap site. Wondering why most of my pain is there since the stomach and liver are on the right side. It's also my best looking incision. Strange!

Left is usually the side they make a little larger to pull the stomach out, so there's a little more internal stitching and more pain.

I'm 8 days out and that is the only thing that still hurts, but only upon rising and falling, or sitting and standing! LOL

Hang in there its better every day!

 Yup while I notice most seem to have it on the right mines is the left too.  I asked my dr. the other day cause I'm getting concerned still being in pain and he said I have 2 insisions close together where 1 had the tummy come out the other the camera go in so it's more stitched and bruised and will take longer to heal.  Kerry
