I am truly blessed. My surgeon's office advocate called to inform me that CIGNA has approved my surgery after all! It turns out a "peer to peer" review was needed, but all that it took was a phone call by my surgeon's office "my advocate" and the insurance company changed their mind and approved me for surgery. I will have surgery on January 11th. Thanks to so many of you who have encouraged me when I was denied on Nov 15th. I never hoped to have an answer this soon. I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving. And for those of you who will miss loved ones this season, I will keep you in my special thoughts and prayers...
