bloodpressure spike

so within the past few days my blood pressure has spiked up to at its highest 145/98 and i'm wondering could it be nerves from my upcoming surgery has this happened to anyone? i usually run about 125/75 **** 70 on a good day i work in a hospital so im always checking since high blood pressure runs in my family)

 Hey, I am being sleeve on the same day! I would imagine that is why...lol!!!! My nerves so bad til I don't even have an appetite...I had to remind myself today that I need to eat (when my head started hurting).

I am so excited, but also nervous, yet anxious, if you know what I mean!

I had my surgery 12/1. When the nurse took my BP it was 167/82. I have never had that high of blood pressure before. Nerves, anxiety, stress can make your blood pressure sky rocket. Try to think of calm places and best of luck during your surgery!
