Biotene moisturizing mouth spray.  Your mouth will be very dry.  This was a life saver for me.  Purchased at Walmart.  Good luck!  ~Jennifer

Walk as much as you can after surgery, it sucks, but it does help you get better a lot faster!  Good luck!

I took my iphone and headphones and listened to music to help me sleep.  This along with the most comfortable sleep mask I could find really helped me get some rest during the night.  Also, relax before hand as best you can.  Stress is not your friend.  Good luck!

Having spent A LOT of time in the hospital, I reccomend bringing a small fan if you are someone that has to have that noise or some sort of white noise when you sleep.

what ever you do..  if you have nausia do not take the supository... I know sounds gross, but the standard methods of anti nausia was not cutting it.. The suppository made me feel like I was on Some kind of weird drugs and made me feel worse, I couldnt even see straight!  good luck with your surgery and try not to be too nervous.. I actually felt pretty good when I came home with minimal discomfort other than the obvious, and I never had to take the liquid pain killer they gave me once I was home!!
