From what I've read it does get better.  If I were you I would call your Dr in the morning to explain your symptoms.  I'm sure a month from now you'll be saying that this is the best thing you've ever did for yourself.   Hope you get better soon!!!

Oh, yes, I had that happen when I had my baby via c-section. It stopped an hour or two after the surgery though.

I was sleeved on the 23 of jan and I have the trembling in the hospital and still when I get really tired or when I just. CAnt get comfortable. None of my drs were too concerned about it. I would ask though just to be safe.

Hang in there!  When I was sleeved the most discomfort came, by far, from my hiatal hernia repair.  You had two so it seems logical that it would be double the not so fun.  Give it a week and some of the shoulder pain and such will be more comfortable.

The hernia repair recovery was unexpected for me, but holy smokes not having constant reflux was so worth it!!!

I was sleeved monday too, and today is honestly the first day I kind of even feel like I MIGHT do this again.  But, today is the day we try "full liquids" (grits, mashed potatos etc) I am really nervous to try it.  My husband however, had the same exact surgery and has been just fine, walking circles around me.  I get chills when I get super cold, my whole body shakes and my teeth chatter, this is by far the worst part.  When your whole body shakes, and your insides shake it's terrible!  It doesn't happen when I try to go to sleep, just when I get super cold.  This has been awful for me too, so you are not alone!   People blow sunshine and rainbows up your *** and make it sound like the best thing no pain, etc, but that's just not been my experiance.  I hope you feel better soon!

I had 2 c-sections and an emergency abdominal surgery prior to my VSG...I mistakenly thought I was tough and could handle whatever discomfort might come with a Lap procedure(versus open surgery)...Boy was I wrong!! That was the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. My husband asked me the first night as I was heaving, if I regretted the surgery. Of course at that moment I did. Actually I regretted the heck out of my decision for the first week. It is much better now and I'm really happy with the results thus far. I hope all feel better soon. I just wanted to share the my experience wasn't sunshine and roses...I may remember it that way one day, but not today.
