Surgery Prep?
I may be a bit ahead of the game as my surgery is currently scheduled for 4/9/12, but I've always been a planner. I'm trying to make sure that I have everything I need before surgery. So, I have a couple of questions.
1. What were the items of greatest help to have on hand?
2. What do you wish you had and didn't or wished that you had done beforehand?
Thank you,

Do you mean for the hospital or for the diet?
I wish I had not chose the grape mag citrate for my "clense" it was HORRIBLE. It was so tart that I could barely get it down.
I wish I had gotten more just plain chicken noodle soup and strained the broth instead of so many bullion cubes.
Things that were the most help? Sugar Free popcicles!!! I LIVED on these the day before my surgery, I just could not drink another cup of broth, and these were so good. The tropical flavors were best. Also, SF Jello, it kind of tricks you into thinking you're actually eating if you have to do clear liquids for any length of time. Also, keep some 100% fruit juice on hand, I got shaky once and we had to go and buy some from a gas station because I didn't have any on hand.
Good luck!
