My surgery is in 3 days

Good morning guys,

I am having my surgery done onThursday. I am happy and nervous at the same time.  Please keep my sister and myself in your prayers and please send in all the encouragement you can as I have never had surgery before.  I am looking forward to being sleeved but a little afraid about the surgery.

How exciting!  Try not to be nervous, I'm sure things will be fine!  Think positive!! 

 You'll do great. I just had mine on Thursday. The first couple of days are rough, but each day gets better. Walk after surgery. When you're able to have liquids take tiny sips. But walking will do you so much good.

 Newton Wellesley hospital in MA. It was the best experience. They were fantastic

I'll be with you Thursday morning.  My surgery is scheduled for 9:30.  We are going to do amazing.  Can't wait to see you post afterwards!!  Good luck!

Are you going to mexico too (jerusalum hospital)? Wow how cool is that.

Nope.  I mean I'll be with you in the having surgery thing.   I'm having surgery in Hammond, La.  I thought about Mexico but my grandmother (who is paying for it) wanted me to stay in the states.   So we will be in recovery together here at least!!

Shaunna,  I had surgery in January - in Mexico with your doctor.  I had a friend go with me and I was very happy I did.  The surgery went well although I didn't do well with the anastesia.  I was sick for the entire 3 days there and was very happy to get home to a more comfortable and familiar place.  I'm now three months out and have lost 40lbs.
