Sports Bras and Swimsuits

Questions for the ladies.... or the guys if you know!

The "girls" need alot of support these days.  I had to start wearing underwire about 4 months ago and have been doing well with that.  I am finding that when I wear my sports bras to workout, I have neck/shoulder strain because all the weight of the "girls" is being carried there and not supported by the underwire.

So.... thoughts, ideas, suggestions for underwire sports bras and swimsuits??

I know Lane Bryant has come out with some swimwear with underwire built in... I realize you are probably not shopping there, but if they have started selling swimwear like that, perhaps other stores have too?

Lulumon and Athletica make some great supportive sports bras in many sizes.  Victoria's Secret has some underwire pushup swimwear.

Good luck and let us know what you find that works!

I sadly don't have enough "girls" to need these sports bras. I have a 14 year old who plays softball and does..
Rei carries one called moving comfort. Also one at nordstrom by walcol I think is the name. Both are very supportive. Not cheap but the girls won't be going anywhere...

Oooh oh I have one.. best BEST sports bra I've owned, no squish uniboob thing, and total support with an underwire- Lilly of France style 2101755

I got a couple at the local VF Outlet, but I've seen them online too! I'm a 34 D (poured in) and this works well!- Just a link so you can see it:

I'm a 36 DD and I have to use a compression sports bar to run or the people on the next treadmill get pissy when the girls bump into them
It just squishes those girls down and they don't move. Not exactly the most flattering thing but it does the job when I'm running.

I'm still looking for one for dress wear, so far the very expensive VS is the best but hopefully I'll find one that works as good for a little cheaper so I can toss them out without regret.

Google the "Oprah bra".  It's spendy, but well worth the money.  It's essential for running!  I also have the Moving Comfort Maya (sp?) bra for other gym activities, and love it :). You can get both of these from Title Nine.

I agree with vacationlover.  The Oprah Bra is called "Enell" - go to bare necessities and they have 25% off today.  (friend2012 code)

I do real high intensity stuff like jogging, kick boxing, high impact aerobics and this is the only thing that ABSOLUTELY keeps the 'girls' in place.  they don't move!

And for swimsuits - Lands End has an amazing selection for larger breasted women.  You can search their swimsuits by D, DD, DDD sizes so you know it will work for you chest.  Good luck!

Um, you have boobs? *sigh*

I can run without a bra, these days. I do wear an itty/bitty padded bra to keep from looking like a 12 year old boy, otherwise I can go without one entirely.
