I've often been too shy for the opposite sex. I've dated here and there but nothing serious, now that you've lost the weight did you regain that confidence or have new found confidence.

I'm the same way. I have been noticing that men seem friendlier these days. It may be because I'm feeling more happy than I have in years. I don't know if I'd call it confidence, but it feels good to just look at people and smile instead of wishing you could disappear. I'm single too. I'm not ready for dating just yet, but I've sure been looking around!

You should join the singles board. This is a common topic on that board. It's a great place to discuss dating because most of us hadn't dated in years.
