My "gym" is just a footstep away ...

I don't have a membership to a gym because I like to do my own thing but I can see why people love gyms ... I do miss cardio classes like Zumba though and "old school" step aerobics.

Mine is right across the parking lot from my work. But when I was a mile down the road, prior to surgery I found every excuse not to go!

Now there's no option, its within walking distance!

But on holidays when I don't work now that I am postop, I will drive into the gym, it's physically 16 miles from home, but with traffic can take one + hours.

I found a new gym that I love that is just a three minute drive from home. Best thing I did, too! No excuses now. I just hop in the car and get a work out in before dinner!

My first location is right in my house. My wife and I invested in a treadclimber (great cardio workout, low impact, and doubles as a treadmill for walking) and a total gym (craigslist for cheap) so we really limit the excuses. My second option is pretty close to home, maybe 2 miles. I am a firm beliver that if you dont like the facility you wont go, if you have to travel too long to get there you wont go. But then again I am lazy
