My first physical since my VSG/NSV X2
Well, I went to the MAYO CLINIC today and had my annual physical. My doctor could NOT BE more supportive of my decision-especially after going through all the meds I was taking prior to surgery. Guess what? I AM NOT TAKING ANY MEDS NOW!!! (NSV 1)
He told me he was very impressed with that I have taken control of my life and made this decision to make the quality of my life better. He said he would order quarterly labs for me to insure my counts are all doing well. The scale showed I'm down 27 lbs (NSV 2)!!
I do not regret this decision at all. I regret I didn't do it sooner and that I didn't think through my fashion. (I'm a fashion *****).
If you're considering it, DO IT. If you did it and you helped me in my decision, I am forever grateful!!
