I started my mushie phase on Saturday- for some reason today I have been craving MEAT- today on the way home from work I recalled a converstation with my NUT about extra firm tofu- I stopped and bought some came home today sliced a piece off put it in a pan with soy sauce garlic and a tad bit of onion- I let it cook and absorb the wonderful tastes around it- pulled it out of the pan put it on a plate and smooshed it up- OMG I was in heaven today with that one little piece of Tofu- I never in a million years thought I would be so happy- I can't wait for dinner tomorrow night! It was so yummy!

Yeah, that stuff is pretty awesome the way it absorbs the other flavors in the pan and of course it is a great source of protein for us.

Hum, never tried tofu but sounds like something to try since you make it sound so good. Crossing my fingers I'll like it, would be nice to have as an option after surgery.

Surgery scheduled.....December 13, 2012

It is awesome. It's my favourite Chinese take out dish. Fried tofu and minced pork in sauce. Mmmm... So yummy.

I love tofu you have reminded me to get some, I am in my soft food phase as well and that sounds really good. I think I'll get some Japanese Egg Plant to cook with it. If you haven't tried it with the Egg Plant it's a real treat too!

Oh the eggplant does sound yummy- I thought that today I may take it with a little beef broth and onion maybe some broccoli cooked to oblivion. Pretend it's beef and broccoli.
