I was sleeved June 27th...today I finished 11/2 shakes...45 proteins, some cream of chicken soup, 2 Popsicles sf and almost two bottles of water...Am I on the right track?

It sounds like you are doing pretty good.  Keep pounding the protein drinks.  The more protein you get in will help you heal.  Plus at this point, they also count for your hydration goal.  I used chicken broth instead of cream of chicken soup - At this stage it will sit a little easier in your stomach.

How are you feeling?  Are you walking around a little bit every hour?  The more you walk the faster you will feel better and have more energy.  Don't push yourself, but just try to go al little more each time.

I'm feel pretty good...sore...walking every hour...tired right now and about ready to go to bed. I had really planned on drinking the other half of the shake, but just couldn't get it down.  Sipping water until I go to bed.
Thanks for the response!

I hear ya bout the shakes.  I got to where I was just forcing them down.  You do get pretty weary of them!

Congratulations!  I had my sleeve done in 2008.  I remember wanting to eat so badly.  Two days after surgery is not important to get so much in.  You have to heal first.  Keep up with the water and walk walk walk!   Blessings on your new journey....it's a great one!

It sounds like you are doing great.  I would lay off of the cream soups and use broth based soups, other than that, you sound good to go.  Keep working on getting more water and protein in.  Protein shakes are the best nutrition at this point.

Thanks! I appreciate the advice...even after reading and researching and doing what I thought I should be doing...it's nice to know you're on the right track.  One day at time...
