Good luck! Tomorrow I will be 1 week post op. All I can tell you is, the first few days are rough but just know, it gets easier and easier everyday. I'm sure you have heard this before as well but it's worth repeating: sip, walk, rest & repeat. The hardest thing for me was getting used to how small a sips they wanted me to take. A 1-oz cup of water took me three sips. For me, that's what made getting the fluids in, very difficult.
