How long did hair loss last for you?

I thought I read that hair loss typically occurs in a three month period. I have surpassed that. The whole time I was fine. I knew it was a possible side effect and I had really really thick hair so I just dealt with it. Now my hair is incredibly thin and it is still galling out by the masses every day.

How long did this last for you?

Any suggestions?

Well I'm up to about 9 months I think.  Almost a year out and still losing hair.  It is less than at the peak, but I have a handful every time I shower.  It has been long enough that I have baby hair coming in some places.

I am not there yet, thankfully, but I heard and read on this board that it lasts like until month 6 or so and even longer, but every one has said that it grew back in, slow but it does come back. Some people suggested taking Biotin and said that it helped a little, so maybe give that a try.

Mine fell out for 2 months starting at 4 months out.  I am 11 months out now and was just thinking this morning at how I am regaining body and notice some fullness.  I cut mine pretty short when it started falling out and have decided to keep it short.

I was thinking about cutting it short too. Was it helpful with the hair loss? I think it would at least be a little more manageable. I literally shed every where I go. Have to keep it in a bun anyway.

I really like the short hair, especially with the weight loss.  I was giving my bathrooms a thorough cleaning this weekend and realized there was not the first hair anywhere!

Got sleeved March 18.  Hair fell out one month later.  Hair started growing back in July.
