So how long after surgery before I can eat at McDonalds again?
Actually I ate at MickeyD when we were in Honolulu at 4 months out - if you call sharing a yogurt cone with my hubby eating. (It's all about the free wifi so you can figure out how to get back to your hotel without buying a data plan - we walked for hours at a time while there and sometimes got lost)
Some people like their salads once able to eat salad greens.

I don't think that someone who asks that question 5 times during an informational session shows readiness for this extreme lifestyle change. Hopefully, someone will pick up on that before she has surgery.
unfortunately, if she has insurance (or means to pay cash) it likely wont matter.... some of these surgeons are no better than puppy mills....
I have had McD's food twice since surgery...in the form of a grilled chicken breast with lettuce, bacon, and tomato...no mayo, natch! Both times were when there was no other alternative (i.e., airport!). The smell of McD's makes me queasy now...so if I do have to go there (I meet my family there when traveling on the road to organize grandkid drop-off/pick-up), I get a decaf and sit near the door. Fresh air!!
