Ok I gave in to my chubby girl frame of mind. I ate a third of a slice of Hawaiian piazza...good news didn't fini**** But damn why didn't I freaking just wake up an make a shake? Tonight I will plan better. Before I go to bed I'm making my shake an putting it in the fridge. God must be watching while I was eating a friend texted me...to encourage me, how great was that. But then I felt all ...weak for not over coming my temptation. Oh well failure is only when we give up, right? Well this phat girl isn't giving up! Good luck to all of u pre ops

Wow...you know you're not supposed to be doing that right?  I'm on day 4 as well, and just a few spoonfuls of Cream of Wheat had me Stuffed, and walking to get up the gas.   You're sabotaging yourself, and possibly harming yourself.  Don't do that.  It's only FOOD...food will be there when you're all healed up, and actually ready to eat it.  Food is not going anywhere.  What you need right now is Change....get back to food later, when you're ready to make those changes in your diet.

And I thought I was living on the edge, when I had half a cube of cheese with my broth yesterday...the kind that melts in your mouth...

Well nowhere does it say that you're pre-op, but thank goodness you are.  All the same...it's only food.  If you give into the cravings, it will make post op even harder, because it's all about head hunger for me right now.  You barely feel physical hunger anymore....just a whole bunch of mental cravings of foods that you can't eat.  That's the beast to beat right now....food can always wait till later.  Good Luck!

I almost missed that part as well. I almost had a heart attack! Haha! You can do it. It's rough, but you stopped yourself. That's a start! Get back on plan and get rid of that pizza. By "rid" I mean trash!!

You can do it!  Are you on your pre-op?  I've foudn in the last 2 days I keep thinking of things that I could have... a few months after surgery that are low carb and such but I have to keep stopping myself and say... ONLY liquids.  Best of luck to you!

You CAN do this.  Remember to have plenty of SF jello and popsicles around - they let you feel like you are chewing now and will let you get in some fluids when it's really hard post op!

You are gonna do great!

As far as the food, I hear that the pre-op diet is the worst.   And you don't yet have the added incentive of seeing the pounds drop off.   Just pick yourself back up and get on track and all will be well.
