Hun, you should be able to keep your foods down.  Please call your surgical team first.  You may want to consider eating something else that may agree with you.  You are 6 weeks out and no way that all foods will agree with your now.  You are still healing.  Take it slow.

I was still loving plain greek yogurt at your stage.

All best,

Layla

How long do you wait between breakfast and protein drink and meds?  Could be you are still full from breakfast.  Try putting more time in between your meds and a meal if you can and see if that works.

I did not read Kelly Anne's response as negative.  None of should be attacking each other.

No matter what, I would go ahead and call your doctor and tell them what is going on.  I have problems taking vitamins, especially if they have iron in them because I end of nauseated.  Other than maybe eating breakfast and taking your protein to quickly it could be the vitamin itself.

You could possibly try taking your meds later in the day and see if you still throw up.  It is just kind of odd that it is only after breakfast.

Good Luck and I hope you figure it out quickly!

I am wondering if it is your meds/vitamins. I still can not tolerate bariatric vitamins or any calcium. No matter when I take them I always throw up.

As far as the foods listen to your baby belly and not your head.

I tend to eat fast and when I do... it all comes back.

Hope you are able to find a reason.

Elizabeth

I'm going to wait awhile until I drink my protein shake after eating. I usually wait 45min-1hr. after I have my last bite, but I will wait a lot longer now for sure. I appreciate all of your advise and will use it for sure.

Thanks Again!!!!

Your sleeve may be too tight. You might need an extender. (Ballon procedure) call your surgeon.

Do you mean this could be a stricture?  I am in the same boat as she is.

Ok.....I finally got the answer why I have been throwing up! I was diagnosed with shingles yesterday and the nausea and vomiting is part of the course so I now have the answers!!! It is not my baby sleeve!!!

I'm glad to hear your sleeve is ok. But so sorry to hear about the shingles. I hope your Dr is able to give you some good drugs for those. Hugs
