I was texting with my husband the other day and sharing the news of
my first weigh-in. I was excited because it was a bigger than expected loss. His reply:

I think you're beautiful no matter how much you weigh. I love you for ever, no matter what.

I'm not the emotional type and I don't accept compliments well, but I wanted to cry. It was hands down, the best and most caring thing anyone has ever said to me.

We've been together 13 years and married 10 (in October). Like all relationships, we've had our ups and downs. But he is truly my best friend. And we do get better with age. Now, if I could only get him to put his plate in the sink and pick up his socks.

Congratulations!  Forget about the plates and socks.  The only thing we are useful for is opening jars and killing spiders
