Hi,

Congratulations on your date.  It'll be here before you know.

My NUT said the important thing to look for was "Whey Protein Isolate" or "Soy Protein Isolate".  The Isolate is easier to digest/absorb and is more effective with our new tummies.  Hope that helps.

My surgery is next week.  I've had time to plan and prepare.  I purchased sample packs of various brands of protein at Whole Foods and GNC.  I recommend you do the same - so much easier to decide what you like before you commit to the expensive big jug of protein powder.  Also great for travel.   I really like the Isopure drink from GNC.  Comes in lots of flavors.  20 oz of liquic and 40 grams of protein.  I figure it will be my first week home saviour.
