Have you considered doing intermittent fasting? About once a week I fast from noon to noon. So I eat my breakfast and lunch on one day and I don't eat again until lunch the next day. You can do this once or twice a week and really have a decent deficit calorie wise, plus it gives your body a break. It has helped keep me from stalling too.
